I thought NASA’s mission was all about space exploration- apparently not?

According to Charles Bolden the head of NASA in the video interview above with Al Jazeera, the number one primary mission that President Obama assigned to NASA was to boost Muslim self-esteem:

1. "to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with predominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering."

Rounding out the top 3 tasks that Obama assigned to NASA are the following:

2. "re-inspire children to want to get into science and math" and

3. "expand our international relationships,"

So exploring space didn’t even make the top three things Obama wants NASA to accomplish? Hat tip to Powerline Blog for the heads up.

Response: Why not help the self-esteem of America for a change? The heck with the so-called ‘Muslim world’ they need a little more reality and less fantasy –more humility and less arrogance.

Has President Obama even bothered to read what Iran’s Ahmadinejad has been saying lately about the USA going down and a new Muslim era beginning soon? Has he even bothered to notice that PM Erdogan of Turkey is talking about putting together a new Islamic Caliphate and has turned from the West to join up with Iran and Syria in forming a new Islamic axis of power in the Middle East.

Forget boosting Muslim self-esteem, they have all they need and more as the radical Islamists around the world are attempting to bring down the West and establish Muslim world dominance.            *Top of the Blog
