-Rating Retailers: The ‘Christmas Friendly’ and the ‘Scoogies’ of the Week

Focus on the Family sponsors a website-“Stand For Christmas” – that allows customers to rate how ‘Christmas Friendly’ national retailers are during the 2009 Christmas season.

According to the list—here are the current Top 5 ‘Christmas Friendly’ retailers for the 2009 season:

1. Bass Pro Shops     @ 97%

2. Cabela’s     @ 90%

3. Dillard’s     @ 85%

4. Kmart     @ 85%

5. Lands’ End     @ 85%

Now here are the least ‘Christmas Friendly’ retailers–the Bottom 5 ‘Scoogies’:

1. Lane Bryant     @ 0%

2. GAP     @ 2%

3. Best Buy     @ 8%

4. Borders     @ 8%

5. Old Navy     @ 12%

We award our coveted ‘Scoogies’ of the Week award to the bottom 5 retailers: Lane Bryant, GAP, Best Buy, Borders, and Old Navy.             *Top
