Over 15,000 Attend ‘House Church’ Easter Event in Vietnam

HO CHI MINH CITY, April 22 (Compass Direct News) – In what religious freedom advocates regarded as a breakthrough in Vietnam, authorities granted rare permission to unregistered house church groups to hold a large, public Easter-related service here last night.

Response: Wow! This is an incredible breakthrough for the church in Vietnam! For years pastors were constantly rounded –up and thrown in prison or in ‘re-education’ camps. Keep praying for the church in Vietnam, it is rapidly expanding through house church movements like the Chinese church.
