-Anglican Leaders Support ‘Gay’ Moratorium

by Dr. D ~ February 7th, 2009

image Anglican leaders gathered this week in Alexandria, Egypt for a conference on unity and other issues affecting the 70 million member Anglican Communion. They reaffirmed the moratorium on the consecration of gay bishops and blessings for same-sex unions.

Also, the Bishops recommended that the lawsuits over Episcopal property, that have come in the wake of the new breakaway conservative North American province in the USA, be halted.

Response: It will be interesting to see how the Episcopal Church in the US responds to the moratorium and the suggested halt to property lawsuits.            *Top
