Last week we posted about the new “Anglican Church in North America“. One of the major issues that caused the schism in the Episcopal Church USA was ordaining Homosexuals particularly to Bishop and support of same-sex marriages and dedications.

So how do the liberal Episcopalians respond to the conservatives forming their own Church?

The Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles this week joined seven other dioceses in passing a resolution asking the church to ordain lesbians to the office of bishop as well as continuing to ordain homosexual men. The Los Angeles diocese also expressed support for homosexual “marriage” by creating the new “Sacramental Blessing for a Life-long Covenant”.

Response: This is like saying-”good riddance” to the conservatives and “don’t let the door hit you on the way out”. Instead of seeking to heal the wounds and divisions in the American church, they widen the rift. The world Anglican Communion asked the Episcopal Church USA to stop ordaining homosexual Bishops and the liberal Episcopalians ‘double-down’ instead!            *Top
